The water and wastewater services we provide are extended to Wasco, Fox Mill, The Farmstead, Prairie Lakes, and Fox Creek subdivisions.

Your potable water system currently has three wells. The wells are located at various locations in the District.

The Wastewater Treatment Plant is located on Campton Hills Road where we land apply to about 90 acres. The District has additional irrigation land on Old Burlington Road.

The new Radium Treatment Plant is located under the water tower on LaFox Road. Your water is softened and tested daily by staff to ensure the best possible quality. It is not necessary to install water softeners in your home. Tours are scheduled at all facilities upon request.

Regular monthly Board Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at the Congregational Church (Fox Mill Boulevard) at 7:30 p.m. Special meetings are called as necessary with publication date and time in the Kane County Chronicle and/or the St. Charles Republican, and posting of notices at public places within the District.

Billing Information

  1. Water Usage Rate $2.65/1,000 Gallons
  2. Sewerage Usage Rate $3.60/1,000 Gallons
  3. Capital Improvement Charge $14.50/month
  4. Meters are read according to route, and bills are mailed bi-monthly
  5. Invoices are due within 20 days of billing date and are subject to a 10% finance charge on overdue accounts
  6. Water service is subject to interruption on accounts with balances over 50 days past due.

Lawn Irrigation

  1. Permits are required for the installation of sod. Please call the manager, Charlie Foulkes, for approval.
  2. Permanent water conservation policies are in effect year-round. Addresses ending in odd numbers may irrigate on odd dates (even addresses on even dates) from 6 am to 9 am and 6 pm to 9 pm.

The District Office is located under your water tower on the southwest corner of LaFox Road and Route 64. Staff is usually present Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
